BARRBELL Productions was founded by Matt, a secondary school teacher, lifetime musician and conductor who discovered a love for live production while studying at University. With years of experience setting up concerts, school musicals, and community events, he knows how much great sound and lighting can transform an occasion.

Why I Started BARRBELL Productions

The idea for BARRBELL came when Matt and his wife (also a musician!) were planning their own wedding and struggled to find high-quality equipment that didn’t cost the earth. Spotting a gap in the market, they created BARRBELL to offer reliable, professional sound and lighting at fair prices — perfect for weddings, parties, and community events.
